Job Summary: The restaurant Expeditor ensures the quality and proper presentation of food in a timely manner; that food orders are prepared and assembled quickly according to recipes and procedures to avoid waste; and that the line is always stocked, neat, clean, and safe.

Job Responsibilities

1. Timeliness: Ensures kitchen orders are prepared promptly and sent out together by coordinating with servers and/or food runners.
2. Pace: Maintains a brisk and steady workflow, organized with no unnecessary steps.
3. Recipe Adherence: Ensures proper presentation of each plate and maintains appropriate temperatures.
4. Cleanliness: Keeps the kitchen and all equipment in a 'like new' condition. Practices clean as you go!
5. Productivity: Measures include both quality and quantity of work completed within a specific timeframe.
6. Organization Skills: Must be highly organized.
