Job summary

Stout NYC Hospitality Group’s Busser position at 35th Street is a fast-paced role supporting servers and bartenders during high-volume periods near Madison Square Garden.

The ideal candidate is dependable, energetic, and willing to learn, with experience in busy NYC restaurants preferred but not required. You will reset tables, stock station needs, and help maintain a clean dining room.

• We’re looking for someone who is dependable, positive, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy environment.
• Previous high-volume NYC restaurant experience is preferred, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are equally important.

Responsibilities

• Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and properly throughout service
• Maintain clean and organized dining rooms and service stations
• Support servers, bartenders, food runners, and fellow bussers during high-volume periods
• Restock glassware, silverware, plates, napkins, and other service supplies
• Assist with opening, closing, and assigned sidework
• Communicate with servers and management to help turn tables efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness throughout guest and service areas
• Work with urgency while remaining aware of guests and maintaining professional service
• Follow all restaurant sanitation, safety, and service standards

Busser – Stout NYC, 35th Street

Stout NYC – 35th Street is looking for hardworking, energetic, and reliable Bussers to join our team in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant just steps from Madison Square Garden.

Our business is heavily driven by concerts, sporting events, private parties, happy hours, and high-volume walk-in traffic, so we’re looking for team members who can move with urgency, stay organized, and work together to keep service running smoothly.

The ideal candidate understands that a strong busser does much more than clear tables. Bussers are an essential part of the service team and help maintain the pace of the restaurant by resetting tables quickly, keeping service areas stocked and organized, assisting servers and bartenders, and anticipating what the team needs before being asked.
