Responsibilities

• Greet all Smith guests and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Refer to guests by name when appropriate and accommodate requests.
• Guide guests to tables with menus and manage reservations.
• Ensure seating aligns with the floor plan and timing.
• Keep host area stocked, clean, and organized.
• Answer phones and provide menu and restaurant information.
• Observe the dining experience to exceed guest expectations.

THE POSITION: HOST

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet all Smith guests by being attentive to them as soon as they walk through the door
• Create a welcome environment for guests, and when appropriate, refer to guests by their names.
• Say yes! Always try to find ways to accommodate a request.
• Guide guests to their tables with menus.
• Manage the floor plan and pay special attention to reservations and ensure they are seated in a timely manner.
• Clean, organize, and stock menus at the host area.
• Answer phone calls and answer questions concerning the menu and the restaurant.
• Observe the entire dining experience, ensuring that every moment exceeds expectations
