Job summary

Mash up Food Hall is seeking a friendly, reliable Busser to support our FOH team at Mash up Food Hall in Louisville, KY. You will help maintain clean tables, assist servers with refills, bussing, and resetting dining surfaces to ensure fast, smooth service.

Qualifications

• Check FOH restaurant floors, tables and chairs are clean and organized.
• Demonstrate genuine hospitality during every interaction with our guests.
• Assist service staff with refilling waters, pre-bussing plates, glassware, flatware.
• Clean and reset tables with a sense of urgency.
• Attend pre-shift meeting to review/communicate information regarding service, VIP's, Specials.

Responsibilities

• Offers assistance to guests by clearing away dishes, glassware, and refilling beverages as needed.
• Performs opening and closing responsibilities in a timely and detailed manner.
• Answer guest questions about food preparation details and communicate specific guest needs to the kitchen.
• Informs host staff of table status to ensure faster turn times and efficiency.
• Maintain a positive guest experience with effective communication of all guest recovery situations while documenting such occurrences to the MOD.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or instructed by management.
• Assist and support team members, as necessary.
• Perform other related duties as directed by the Bar Manager, FOH Managers, General Manager, or Corporate Office.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrates knowledge and ability to execute restaurant standards.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Must have a positive attitude.
• 1 Year of Restaurant Bartending Experience.
• 1 Year of customer service experience.
