Carver Road Hospitality is seeking a Busser to join Carversteak at Resorts World Las Vegas. You will support servers by clearing, resetting tables, and maintaining a clean dining area in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Several private event spaces are available including two dedicated private dining rooms, the Knife Shop and the Scotch Room, and a large outdoor private garden.Come check us out: Carversteak | Las Vegas Strip Restaurant // Carversteak (@carversteak)Position SummaryThe Busser assists Servers in steps of guest service, including interacting with guests, setting and resetting tables in a prompt, professional and effective manner, ensuring beverage glasses are full.Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Employee Handbook.Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks, refilling when needed.Properly sets-up coffee and bread stations, performs side-work and other opening/closing procedures as directed by management.Cleaning machines and appliances, such as coffee & tea makers, glass washers and bread warmer.Maintain the general cleanliness and orderliness of the coffee and bread station during service.Set up bread trays and butter dishes for service, and prepare coffee and tea beverages to orderSort soiled China, glasses, and silverware outside the break down area, polishing glasses/silverware and restocking server stations.Always maintain general cleanliness and stock paper supply in guest restrooms during serviceEmptying trash, receptacles, sweeping floors, restocking all supplies in the dining room and ensure that the dining areas and service stations are clean and organizedAnticipate and accommodate the needs of guests while providing professional and exceptional service to ensure guest satisfaction.Communicates the needs of the guests to Front-of-House and Back-of-House support staff, servers, managers, and chefs.Protects establishment, guests, and employees by adhering to Department of Health and Company sanitation standards.Reports all breakage, damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management.Attends and participates in daily pre-service meetings.Updates knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities.Our Ideal CandidatePrevious busser/hospitality experience in a high-volume restaurant/lounge.Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time.Must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs.Ability to handle exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.Must be a team player and able to interact with internal and external customers.Must have current SNHD food handlers card and alcohol awareness card.Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends and holidays.As an important member of our team, you’ll be eligible forHealth, Dental, and Vision insuranceCompetitive PayThis is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, requirements or working conditions associated with the job.
