Job summary

El Cortez Hotel & Casino in Downtown Las Vegas seeks friendly restaurant staff to join our team. You will prepare tables for meals, remove dishes, replenish utensils, and keep dining areas clean and sanitary while delivering attentive guest service.

We value teamwork, punctuality, and the ability to stand for long periods. Applicants must be 21+, pass a pre-employment drug test, and be flexible for shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+.
• Pass pre-employment urine drug and alcohol test.
• Must be available to work any shift when necessary, including weekends & holidays.
• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and glassware.
• Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters and take them to kitchen for cleaning.
• Maintains table settings by removing finished courses and replenishing utensils as necessary.
• Maintains clean and sanitary work areas.
• Clean tables or counters after patrons have finished dining.
• Other tasks and duties as assigned.
