Qualifications

Job Summary:

As a Bartender, you will provide excellent customer service by preparing and serving drinks to guests in a professional and friendly manner. You will ensure that the bar area remains clean, organized, and stocked while adhering to all safety and legal regulations. Your role is vital in creating a welcoming environment for guests and ensuring they have an enjoyable and memorable experience at the bar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and Serve Drinks: Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and making recommendations based on their preferences.
• Maintain Bar Area: Ensure the bar is clean, well-stocked, and organized, including cleaning glasses, utensils, and work areas.
• Inventory Management: Monitor bar stock levels, inventory, and supplies, and inform the supervisor when restocking is necessary.
• Handle Cash and Payments: Accurately process guest payments and give change. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions securely.
• Enforce Responsible Drinking Policies: Ensure that guests are drinking responsibly and adhere to alcohol service laws and regulations.
• Create a Welcoming Environment: Engage with guests to create a positive atmosphere, ensuring all patrons have a great experience.
• Team Collaboration: Work with other bartenders, servers, and staff to ensure smooth and efficient service throughout the bar.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Follow all cleaning and safety protocols, ensuring the bar area remains safe, sanitary, and well-maintained.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Experience: Previous bartending experience and/or combo bartending with food service is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
• Licensing: Must be able to obtain any necessary alcohol service certifications, including Union Pour Card.
• Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old in compliance with gaming industry regulations.
• Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with guests and team members.
• Cash Handling: Ability to handle cash, credit card transactions, and accurately process payments.
• Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check.
• Drug and Alcohol Testing: Successful completion of a pre-employment urine drug tests, as well as alcohol testing, to ensure a safe and professional work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bartender Certification: Certification in bartending or alcohol service (preferred).
• Advanced Drink Knowledge: Experience with creating a wide range of cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Multitasking Skills: Ability to manage multiple drink orders and handle a busy bar environment while maintaining excellent service.
• Casino Experience: Experience working in a casino or high-traffic hospitality environment.
