Job summary

HashHouse a Go Go in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Busser to support dining room operations. You will remove used tableware between courses, clear and reset tables, and assist servers with service during peak periods.

Experience in a food service setting is required. Candidates should work well in a fast-paced environment, lift and move items, and communicate effectively with guests and staff to ensure smooth service.

• Working knowledge of the predominant language(s) of our guests.

Responsibilities

• Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift.
• Greet guests as they are seated.
• Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for next course.
• Clear tables after guests leave.
• Take soiled tableware to dish room and unload, sort and stack silverware, dishes, glassware in designated areas in the soaled dish drop-off area. Replenishing clean dishes, silverware and glassware as needed to designated areas.
• Between seating promptly clean tabletops, chairs and booths. Check the floor and clean as required. Reset and arrange tabletop.
• Where applicable inspect/clean and restock the assigned restroom every 30 minutes.
• Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to server as needed.
• Communicate with server and hostess to assure efficient seating, table utilization and customer service.
• Assist server as needed with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods.
• Thank guests as they are leaving.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
