V&E Hospitality Group in Las Vegas is seeking a dedicated Busser to support our dining team and maintain a spotless, welcoming environment for guests. Clear and reset tables, assist servers with delivering beverages, and keep the dining area clean to ensure an enjoyable dining experience.

You will restock service stations, transport used dishes on bussing carts, and collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to uphold service standards in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Busser in a restaurant is preferred but not required.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift moderately heavy objects.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Table maintenance: Clear and reset tables for the next guests.
• Assist servers by delivering beverages, refilling water, and delivering food orders as needed.
• Maintain dining area cleanliness by wiping and sanitizing tables, chairs, and surfaces.
• Keep service stations stocked with glassware, utensils, napkins, and supplies; inform kitchen staff when replenishment is needed.
• Assist guests with directions, questions, and special requests to ensure a welcoming experience.
• Bussing carts: transport used dishes to the dishwashing area and assist in dish area cleanliness.
• Collaborate with bussers, servers, and kitchen staff to support a smooth operation.

Position Overview:

V&E Hospitality Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Busser to join our team. The Busser plays a vital role in maintaining a clean and organized dining environment and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Table Maintenance:Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring they are clean and properly set for the next guests. Remove used dishes, glassware, and utensils promptly.
2. Assist Servers:Collaborate with servers to provide exceptional service to guests. Support servers by delivering beverages, refilling water glasses, and delivering food orders as needed.
3. Dining Area Cleanliness:Continuously monitor the dining area for cleanliness. Wipe down and sanitize tables, chairs, and other surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment.
4. Refill Supplies:Keep service stations stocked with clean glassware, utensils, napkins, and other necessary supplies. Inform the kitchen and bar staff when additional supplies are needed.
5. Guest Assistance:Assist guests by answering questions, providing directions, and accommodating special requests when possible. Ensure that guests feel welcomed and attended to during their dining experience.
6. Bussing Carts:Safely transport used dishes and equipment to the dishwashing area using designated bussing carts. Help maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing area.
7. Teamwork:Collaborate with fellow bussers, servers, and kitchen staff to create a positive and efficient work environment. Be willing to assist in other areas of the establishment as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Busser in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift moderately heavy objects.
• Positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical qualifications:

• Ability to move throughout the dining room effectively.
• Ability to lift and carry serving trays weighing up to 15lbs and bus tubs weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to perform reaching and stooping motions.
