Location Overview

The Busser is responsible for the preparation of condiments, food delivery, and presentation of food items.

Responsibilities
  1. Learn and focus on the Sequence of Service and restaurant standards.
  2. Have full knowledge of all food and beverage offerings.
  3. Review menu changes and specials.
  4. Greet and seat guests when needed.
  5. Bus tables as necessary.
  6. Operate as an independent cashier.
  7. Prepare and deliver guest beverages.
  8. Promptly deliver food and beverages ensuring quality and accuracy.
  9. Attend to guests throughout their experience.
  10. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and lounge area.
  11. Complete all required side work.
  12. Handle cash and balance as required.
  13. Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  14. Maintain appearance standards per employee handbook.
  15. Explain marketing promotions to guests.
  16. Provide courteous service and be cordial to guests and team members.
  17. Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  18. Handle guest and employee concerns effectively.
  19. Comply with hotel standards and regulations for safe and efficient operations.
  20. Identify problem areas and assist in solutions.
  21. Handle problems proactively, anticipating needs.
  22. Understand and apply complex information from various sources.
  23. Show initiative by anticipating guest and operational needs.
  24. Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor.
  25. Multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  26. Maintain consistent attendance.
  27. Cross-train in other hotel areas.
  28. Maintain confidentiality of information.
  29. Engage in training and development activities.
Qualifications
Minimum Job Requirements
  1. Must be at least 18 years old.
  2. High School Diploma or GED.
  3. Ability to read and understand English.
  4. Follow verbal and written instructions.
  5. Minimum six months restaurant experience.
  6. Knowledge of kitchen equipment handling.
  7. Operate and clean kitchen equipment.
  8. Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.
