JOB DUTIES:
The F&B Busser job duties include attending to guests and supporting servers in the service of the restaurant by detailing tables, delivering food, clearing tables, and resetting tables. The F&B Busser is fully present in the dining room during operational hours. The F&B Busser must as well keep up with the cleanliness and proper condition of the restaurant tools and equipment at Bluejack National. This position is member facing and requires strong customer service skills, and the ability to anticipate and comply to guest needs in a genuine and timely manner while following all Food & Beverage standards.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Adhere to food, health and safety standards.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean, professional, and in accordance with the F&B Grooming Standard.
• Be punctual for all scheduled shifts.
• Offer members a warm and sincere greeting. Use the guest name, if and when possible.
• Anticipate and comply with guest needs while following Food & Beverage Standards
• Offer members a fond farewell. Give them a warm goodbye and use their names, if and when possible.
• Always exhibit a friendly demeanor and positive attitude while on duty.
• Prepare dining areas before guests are seated.
• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests’ tables in a timely manner.
• Deliver drink orders from the bar to guests’ tables in a timely manner.
• Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, refilling water glasses, and being attentive to additional needs.
• Clean and reset tables after guests leave.
• Stay present in the dining room and always in sight of guests.
• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the dining room and server stations on a daily basis according to established Standards.
• Be fully knowledgeable of all Food & Beverage menus and offerings.
• Follow & adhere to opening, closing, and requisition procedures developed for the Server / Busser position in Food & Beverage.
• Responsible for maintaining all standard operating procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining the operation in accordance with all TABC / state and county liquor laws.
• Responsible for communicating any maintenance and repair needs to the F&B Manager.
• Maintain a high level of hospitality and professionalism with each team member and guest.
• Maintain open communication in regards to conflict resolution with co-workers.
• Handle member problems and complaints as professionally as possible or refer to the F&B Managers or DOFB for support.
• Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Assist with the setup, breakdown and service of all major club functions and events as needed.
• Attend all relevant operational meetings.
• Assist with any other job related duties or special projects as assigned by management.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Service oriented style with professional presentations skills.
• Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in the hospitality industry in a service role.
• Hotel / Resort experience a plus.
• Skilled in interpersonal communications and organization.

APPROXIMATE SCHEDULE AND HOURS:

Weekdays, weekends, and Holidays. Flexible hours as business dictates.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Our property sits on 767 acres and features many indoor and outdoor facilities that make up the work environment. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand and move around for the entirety or majority of their shift. The employee may be working outside or inside and in different types of weather including excessive heat, cold temperatures, rain and sunshine. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is also regularly required to push, pull, bend, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Likely this role will require the ability to drive a golf cart to transport from one area of the property to another in a safe and secure manner.
