Job summary

The Lodge at Torrey Pines in La Jolla, CA, is hiring a Busser to assist the Food Servers and help create a memorable dining experience for guests in our fine dining room overlooking the Torrey Pines Golf Course.

Candidates should have 6–12 months of relevant hotel experience, weekend and holiday availability, and be able to obtain a San Diego County Food Handler certification; RBS certification is required. This role offers competitive pay and employee perks.

Qualifications

• At least 6-12 months of relevant experience and/or training.
• Previous similar position in a hotel, or similar business entity preferred.
• Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
• Must obtain a San Diego County Food Handler certification upon hire (training provided at company expense).
• RBS certification required.
• Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• The following position will be filled in accordance with the process set forth in California Labor Code Section 2810.8 and San Diego Municipal Code 311.0101 et. seq.

Located in the AAA Five Diamond rated resort, The Lodge at Torrey Pines in La Jolla, A.R. Valentien is a fine dining restaurant known for its exceptional seasonal cuisine, elegant atmosphere, and superior service. SUMMARY

The Busser (\"Ayudante de Mesero/a\") assists the Food Servers in the performance of their duties to achieve complete customer satisfaction and ensures the creation of a successful dining experience for our guests.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 6-12 months of relevant experience and/or training.
• Previous similar position in a hotel, or similar business entity preferred.
• Ability to always maintain a friendly, professional, team-oriented, positive demeanor and diplomatic attitude, especially under stress or challenges.
• Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
• Must be able to attain a valid San Diego County Food Handler certification upon hire. Evans Hotels will provide this training and is to be completed at the company’s expense.
• RBS certification required.
