Job summary

Round-Peg Solutions (RPS) is assisting a leading aerospace manufacturer in finding a Business Unit Manager to head its Engines & Rotary Wing unit, a $150M+ operation. This role is the executive leader of the unit, acting as the mini President with end-to-end ownership of performance and growth.

You will drive commercial strategy, lead PMs and BD professionals, negotiate contracts, and work with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality to maximize profitability and value creation.

Responsibilities

• Full P&L ownership and accountability for business performance.
• Develop and execute the business unit growth strategy.
• Drive new business generation across next-generation engine and helicopter platforms.
• Build relationships with aerospace OEMs, integrators and key customers.
• Lead Program Managers, Customer Account Managers and Business Development.
• Oversee pricing, proposals, contracts and commercial negotiations.
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain, Production Planning and Quality.
• Identify opportunities to improve growth, profitability and overall business value.
