Marotta Controls in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a Business Unit Finance Lead - Production to oversee a small team of 2–3 analysts, drive bid and proposal costing, and align financial performance with product and contract objectives.

You will integrate inputs from Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain into standardized costing models, deliver timely financial reporting, and support negotiations while promoting process improvement and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Finance or Production/Operations in Aerospace/Defense.
• B.S. Finance, Accounting, Engineering or other technical discipline.
• Core knowledge of EVM principles; government contracting experience a plus.
• Experience supporting audits, customer negotiations, and EVMS metrics.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel, ERP systems proficiency, and strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Supervise, train, and mentor a 2–3 person analytical team with task delegation.
• Ensure deliverables are accurate and on schedule; act as escalation point.
• Lead pricing on RFPs/RFQs for new and existing programs and products.
• Interface with BD, Operations, Engineering, Quality and other stakeholders on quotes.
• Support audits as Finance Lead for bids/proposals under audit.
• Review BOM costings, make/buy decisions with Supply Chain and Program Management.
• Analyze cost drivers and perform variance analysis for bids and designs.
• Gather and analyze sales and cost data to assess performance and margins.
• Assemble monthly financial trackers with operations and program management.
• Conduct monthly variance analysis across BU P&L: Revenue, COGS, Gross Profit.
