Job description

Bankers Alley Hotel Nashville is expanding its team with a new opportunity! We are seeking a Business Travel Sales Manager to boost BTS sales volume by fostering relationships with new accounts and enhancing production with existing ones. This on-property role requires at least 2 years of experience in business travel sales management, with a preference for familiarity with the local Nashville market. Join us in shaping the future of business travel sales at our esteemed hotel.

What will I Be Doing?

The Business Travel Sales Manager will research, develop, and solicit new LNR and CNR accounts, along with some top Leisure accounts, while maintaining relationships with current accounts.

  • Manage and maintain existing relationships with key accounts and focus on new IBT business development via research, cold calling, and telemarketing, excluding key national accounts.
  • Qualify prospects for the consolidated HCS office.
  • Manage some of the Top Leisure Accounts.
  • Participate in industry-related organizations and the local community to develop business. Attain leadership status when possible. Participate in the H.O.S.T. program.
  • Develop and execute onsite and field presentations to prospective clients.
  • Attend trade shows and participate in sales blitzes.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Develop and manage familiarization tours.
  • Assist the department with projects and responsibilities as needed.
