Job summary

Orenda, Inc is seeking a Business Systems Engineer in New York City to design and build the business systems that support their energy storage projects. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience on platforms like Salesforce and extensive knowledge of data models and integrations.

This full-time position requires working from the Brooklyn office five days a week and offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $175,000, along with benefits including health insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience building on business-critical platforms.
• 2+ years as a primary business systems owner.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce administration and development.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
• Experience designing relational data models from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own Orenda's DER project database.
• Own and improve Salesforce and construction management deployments.
• Lead ERP implementation with a third-party firm.
• Maintain data integrity through system integrations.
• Document systems to support rapid onboarding.
