Job summary

The Business Systems Analyst 1 Trainee position, located at the Human Services Call Center in Menands, NY, supports the NY HELPS program within the Office of Children and Family Services. The role involves eliciting and analyzing business requirements, managing stakeholder needs, creating knowledge bases, and providing production support across the system development lifecycle.

You will liaise between business and IT staff, participate in planning, testing, and documentation, and grow your BA

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of business analysis experience using BA techniques to elicit requirements.
• Experience creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation throughout the SDLC.
• Experience validating requirements and developing test plans, logical designs, and test scenarios.
• Bachelor's degree or higher may substitute for 2–6 years of experience.
• Eligible for NY HELPS non-competitive appointment program; must meet minimum qualifications.
