Hybrid (4 days onsite) requires local candidates only. The role serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, blending business analysis, technical analysis, Agile delivery, data analysis, and production support to ensure secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field is required.
• 5+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience preferred.
• Experience translating business needs into technical requirements and user stories.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for complex initiatives.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and technical specifications.
• Analyze application functionality, integrations, APIs, data flows, and system dependencies.
• Identify process improvements and recommend technology solutions.
• Support Agile teams through backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, and release activities.
• Track deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
• Perform data analysis and validation using SQL and reporting tools.

Business Systems Analyst Sr. (Technical Delivery)

Summary

The Business Systems Analyst Sr. serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, leading complex initiatives that support strategic business objectives. This role combines business analysis, technical analysis, Agile delivery, data analysis, and production support to ensure successful implementation and operation of enterprise technology solutions.

The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and technical skills, can translate business needs into technical requirements, and effectively partners with developers, architects, QA teams, cybersecurity teams, and business partners to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions.

Additional notes from the manager:

The ideal candidate must be highly technical and capable of navigating a high-pressure, regulatory-heavy environment. The manager is looking for a very Technical BSA.

• Core Competencies: Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and possessing significant "mental fortitude." The team is described as "rough around the edges," requiring a candidate who is not easily offended.
• The manager is open to a developer (3-5 years of experience) who wants to be a BSA, AML would not be required for a developer.
• Industry Experience: Financial industry experience with AML/BSA knowledge is highly preferred. Banking and transactional experience is a baseline requirement.

Technical Skills:

Strong preference for candidates with developer backgrounds (SQL, database development, or API/microservices experience). The manager is willing to trade specific AML experience for high-level technical/data-mining skills.

Preferred Industry Experience
