Business Systems Analyst | Manufacturing & Fabrication Systems
About the Role:
The Business Systems Analyst supports McGrory’s core business applications and serves as a key liaison between business operations and technology. This role works closely with stakeholders across production, engineering, sales, customer service, finance, and IT to ensure business systems effectively support operational processes, reporting requirements, and organizational goals.
The ideal candidate combines technical aptitude with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. They are comfortable working with business users to understand processes, gather requirements, troubleshoot system issues, and support ongoing improvements across ERP, CRM, reporting, and manufacturing systems.
This position plays an important role in maintaining business applications, improving workflows, supporting data-driven decision-making, and helping deliver technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
Experience supporting manufacturing environments is preferred, with experience in glass fabrication, framing, window, door, curtainwall, or other architectural manufacturing industries considered a plus.

Technical Systems Ownership
Support and maintain core business applications including FeneVision, Logikal, Microsoft Dynamics GP, Salesforce CRM, reporting platforms, and related integrations.
Manufacturing Expertise
Understand and support manufacturing and fabrication processes, including BOMs, work orders, scheduling, inventory management, purchasing, production planning, and operational workflows.
Business Partnership
Work closely with production, engineering, sales, customer service, finance, and leadership teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective technology solutions.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automate processes, enhance reporting and visibility, and leverage technology to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Systems Analysis
- Support the administration and maintenance of FeneVision, Logikal, Microsoft Dynamics GP, Salesforce CRM, and related business applications.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, finance, sales, customer service, and leadership teams to understand business processes and operational requirements.
- Analyze workflows and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
- Assist with application configuration, troubleshooting, testing, and user support activities.
- Support Dynamics GP modules including Finance, Purchasing, Inventory, and Manufacturing.
- Assist with Salesforce CRM administration, workflow configuration, user support, and data management.
- Gather and document business requirements, functional specifications, and process documentation.
- Develop an understanding of system architecture, data relationships, and integration points.
- Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, implementations, and integration projects.
- Facilitate meetings and discussions with stakeholders to clarify requirements and identify solutions.
- Coordinate with IT resources, software vendors, and implementation partners when necessary.
- Assist with evaluating technology improvements and system enhancement opportunities.
Reporting & Data Management:
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, reports, views, and related reporting solutions.
- Build and support dashboards, KPIs, lists, and operational reports across business applications.
- Create reporting solutions that support manufacturing, inventory, purchasing, finance, and sales functions.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity within business systems.
- Analyze data to identify trends, process improvements, and operational insights.
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and system-related reporting issues.
- Support data migration, validation, cleansing, and transformation activities.
- Assist in establishing reporting standards and data management best practices.
- Provide day-to-day application support, issue resolution, user training, and process guidance.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex application, integration, and data-related issues.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, training materials, and support procedures.
- Identify opportunities to streamline business processes through enhanced system utilization and automation.
- Assist with testing, validation, and deployment of new features, upgrades, and integrations.
- Maintain security roles, permissions, audit controls, and governance standards across platforms.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on manufacturing productivity, operational efficiency, and data visibility.
- Recommend and implement best practices for master data management, process standardization, and system governance.
- Participate in cross-functional projects related to manufacturing efficiency, digital transformation, reporting, and business intelligence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, ERP Analyst, Applications Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, with the ability to create queries, analyze data, and assist with troubleshooting.
- Experience with reporting and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting ERP, CRM, manufacturing, or other business applications.
- Understanding of business systems, data structures, business processes, and application integrations.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting FeneVision, Logikal, Microsoft Dynamics GP, Salesforce CRM, or similar business systems.
- Experience with reporting and business intelligence platforms such as Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with API integrations, ETL processes, middleware platforms, or web services.
- Experience participating in ERP, CRM, or business application implementations or upgrades.
- Working knowledge of SQL Server, SSIS, or related technologies.
- Knowledge of manufacturing system integrations and EDI processes.
- Experience in glass fabrication, framing, window, door, curtainwall, or related manufacturing industries.
- Understanding of production tracking, quality management, and manufacturing performance reporting.
