The ideal candidate will review, analyze, and evaluate user needs to create systems solutions that support overall business strategies. Documents system requirements, defines scope and objectives, and creates system specifications that drive system development and implementation. Incumbents function as a liaison between IT and users and have both business and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

Review, analyze, and evaluate user needs; create system solutions; document requirements; define scope and objectives; develop system specifications; act as liaison between IT and users.

Required Skills

Payment Industry Experience

• Understanding of payment gateways, processors, and acquiring banks.
• Knowledge of payment types like Credit Cards, ACH, PayPal, Digital Wallets, and alternative methods.
• Experience with payment processing workflows, including authorization, settlement, chargebacks, refunds, and disputes.
• Experience with subscription billing and recurring payments.
• Knowledge of PCI DSS, GDPR, and related regulations.

Technical Skills

• Experience with high-volume payment systems.
• Proficiency with APIs (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON).
• Understanding of encryption and tokenization techniques.
• Familiarity with payment orchestration platforms and fraud detection techniques.
• Knowledge of transaction processing systems.

Agile Methodology

• Ability to perform duties independently.
• Clearance requirements: Public Trust, client clearance, U.S. citizenship or Green Card, U.S. residency for 5+ years, limited travel outside U.S.
