Additionally, the individual acts as a liaison between the business/end users and IT systems development teams during the execution of development work cycles.Essential Job DutiesIn concert with the assigned Solution Architect act as a liaison between the IT development group and business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems.Identify and analyze business needs, gather requirements, and define scope and objectives.Make recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.Research business requirements and document the relationships between the components of the application system (i.e., end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices).Translate business requirements into application requirements.Prepare communications and make presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives.Assume other duties as assigned.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNot responsible for supervising employees.Minimum RequirementsEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma/GED.3+ years of related experience required; Still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills; Degree or equivalent work experience.Preferred RequirementsBachelor's Degree.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.Demonstrate use of computer operations (programming, relational databases, and operating systems) and software packages.Regularly uses moderately complex oral and written skills.
