Job summary
Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Business Analyst to analyze existing systems and business processes, translate requirements into solution designs, and deliver clear specifications. You will partner with stakeholders, drive backlog items for development teams, and support QA testing within an Agile environment.
Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in CS or related field, 4+ years in IT, strong communication, and experience with Workday and SAP ECC/HANA.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education and experience.
- 4+ years in IT as a Business Analyst with strong design/documentation skills.
- Experience with Agile development, MS Office, and effective communication.
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing systems and processes and define improvement strategies.
- Translate business requirements into solution designs and backlog items.
- Create functional specs and collaborate with QA and users.
- Support SDLC activities and coordinate with Workday/SAP environments.
- Provide guidance to junior analysts and participate in scrums.
