Job summary

Dallas County in Dallas, TX is seeking a Business Analyst II for the District Clerk to manage and support all phases of the program/system including web servers, database administration, imaging, and software/hardware deployments.

You will work with end users to analyze business problems, plan requirements, and define solutions; collaborate on new applications, review RFPs, and monitor the department website for accuracy and performance. A Bachelor's degree and IT experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• At least 1 year of IT software/hardware experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to analyze end-user problems.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily support by meeting with end users to define requirements and resolve issues, improving processes.
• Consults with division management, conducts research, and reviews end-user systems for optimal performance.
• Collaborates in planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications and enhancements.
• Reviews Requests for Proposal from a technical perspective to support software purchases and implementation.
• Monitors the department website to ensure accurate information and optimal performance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
