Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line seeks an experienced Business Analyst to translate business requirements into actionable system designs. You will work across multiple domains, document processes, and collaborate with designers, testers, and stakeholders to ensure delivery of reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4 years of IT/Business Analyst experience.
• Experience in Agile development environment.
• Proficient with system/application design and end user support.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to mentor others.
• Knowledge of Workday and SAP/HANA integration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements for process or system solutions spanning multiple business domains by partnering with stakeholders and documenting the details necessary to help the development team understand what is to be built.
• Break down business partner stories and requirements into backlog items for the product developers and ensure understanding of each item.
• Maintain IT/Business process documentation including changes or additions to ensure traceability.
• Provide functional design specifications for new development and major enhancements.
• Work with designers to create interfaces that satisfy business requirements and design standards.
• Collaborate with testing to develop and maintain functional test cases/scenarios and automated test scripts for load and regression testing.
• Provide acceptance criteria for requirements and facilitate user acceptance testing.
