Job summary

Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company is seeking a Business Systems Analyst II to coordinate and develop solutions within the organization’s business systems in a manufacturing environment. You will translate user requirements into deliverable business system solutions and work with multiple stakeholders across IT and business units.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years as a lead business systems analyst, experience with D365 F&O ERP, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or technology with 2+ years' experience as a lead business systems analyst or equivalent experience.
• Experience with D365 F&O ERP in manufacturing, including production, costing, and finance modules.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, system design/implementation, system support, and user training.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Results oriented and able to drive change in an unstructured environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer focus.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test system configuration, development, and enhancement activities.
• Assist with developing training material and conducting user training.
• Assist with project management when no project managers are available.
• Act as a critical team member on implementation and business process improvement projects.
• Own and assist with configuration components and process design activities.
• Serve as a liaison for IT on enterprise-wide projects.
• Collaborate with IT teams to deploy and deliver new business systems.

The Business Systems Analyst II works with other IT team members, project managers, business leaders, consultants, and end users in coordinating and developing solutions within the organization’s business systems in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with all levels of the business and adept at converting user requirements into deliverable business system solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements from users and create functional requirements as necessary to support application design and enhancement activities
• Work with development team to create technical design specifications and assist with development activities from a functional perspective
• Develop and test system configuration, development, and enhancement activities
• Assist with the development of training material and perform user training
• Assist with the management of projects when no project managers are available
• Act as a critical team member on implementation, enhancement, and business process improvement projects
• Assist with the ownership of business system configuration components
• Assist with process and functional design activities
• Act as a liaison for the IT department on enterprise-wide projects
• Collaborate with other IT teams such as management, infrastructure, and project management to deploy and deliver new and improved business systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or technology with 2+ years' experience as a lead business systems analyst or equivalent experience
• D365 F&O ERP experience required with a focus on manufacturing, including production, costing, and finance modules
• Proven experience with requirements gathering, system design/implementation, system support, and user training
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
• Results oriented/self-directed ability to drive change in unstructured environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills “customer focus”
• Experience in any or all the following a plus: Microsoft Products including MS Power BI/Power Apps, Office Suite, MS Projects, MS Dynamics D365 Finance & Operations, CE; .NET/C# development/implementation projects, SQL, DevOps
• Must be willing to travel up to 20%

Certifications, Licenses & Registrations

Microsoft AX/D365/CRM, ITIL, PMBOK, and/or PMI-PBA certification(s) a plus.

Compensation

Salary Range: $126,000 to $142,000 annually
