OVERVIEW:
Responsible for coordinating and consulting with application owners and/or other Business Systems personnel on application changes to implement new products and services and/or meet internal/external customer needs.
Completes various system testing activities not covered by other teams, such as clients completing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Executes test cases for assigned applications or systems.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Under guidance, prepare functional specifications for assigned projects and execute test cases.
- Assist in research analysis to ensure the functional design of assigned projects is accurate.
- Prepare test cases for assigned applications based on changes and enhancements; execute test cases to verify changes/enhancements work as expected.
- Assist in integrated testing to identify application issues prior to deployment.
- Monitor specifications and change requests to ensure project scope, regulatory compliance, and adherence to business and corporate standards.
- Participate in resolving testing or implementation issues to ensure performance standards are met.
- Support production and post-implementation follow-up, gathering feedback and resolving issues.
- Adhere to the company's risk, regulatory standards, policies, and controls, escalating issues as needed.
- Promote a diverse and inclusive environment reflecting the *** brand.
- Maintain internal control standards and address audit or regulatory issues promptly.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Minimum of 2 years higher education and/or relevant work experience.
- Proficiency with personal computers.
- Problem-solving ability.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in progress.
- Successful performance in a Technology Internship.
- Effective use of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Understanding of the bank's application framework.
- Familiarity with application development software and hardware platforms.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Lateral thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented.
