Position Overview

As a Business Systems Analyst Consultant within PNC’s Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Birmingham, AL; or Dallas, TX. The role requires regular presence in the office or in the field, with some responsibilities potentially performed remotely at the manager’s discretion.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business, Quality Engineers, and technology teams to ensure solutions meet all requirements.
• Define, elicit, and document initiative needs with key stakeholders.
• Act as a subject matter expert on business or technology processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Translate needs into requirements or user stories, and document data flows and mappings.
• Assess impacts of requirements on current and future states.
• Escalate risks, dependencies, and issues to leadership.
• Document scope changes and obtain necessary approvals.
• Create detailed requirements, data mappings, and flow diagrams using standard tools.
• Establish process performance metrics for ongoing support.
• Improve quality through clear acceptance criteria and defect management guidance.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of SQL and data analysis.
• Expertise in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an agile environment.
• Experience with data pipelines and related tools.
• Preferred experience in the finance domain.
