Job summary

UST is seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams. You will analyze business needs, gather and document requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and ensure successful delivery of technology solutions that meet business objectives.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, QA and Project Managers through the SDLC, facilitate UAT, and ensure traceability from inception

Qualifications

• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into specs.
• Proven ability to produce BRD, FRD, user stories and use cases.
• Strong collaboration across business and technology teams throughout the SDLC.

The ideal candidate will analyze business needs, gather and document requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and ensure successful delivery of technology solutions that meet business objectives.

What You'LL Do

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Conduct requirement workshops, gap analysis, and process mapping sessions.


• Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, and use cases.


• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development teams.


• Support solution design, system integration, and process improvement initiatives.


• Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, QA teams, and Project Managers throughout the SDLC.


• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate delivered solutions.


• Identify risks, dependencies, and impacts of proposed changes.


• Support Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stakeholder reviews.


• Ensure traceability of requirements from inception through delivery.
