The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for helping with basic requirements, organizing testing activities across multiple platforms and communicating with cross-functional teams/software vendors to ensure successful outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved with the launch of multiple software applications designed to improve efficiency across Bamboo Insurance.

The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for helping with basic requirements, organizing testing activities across multiple platforms and communicating with cross-functional teams/software vendors to ensure successful outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved with the launch of multiple software applications designed to improve efficiency across Bamboo Insurance.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and validate business requirements.
• Participating/collaborating in requirements meetings (both internal/external teams)
• Participating in user acceptance testing
• Documenting software defects and working with appropriate teams to ensure fixes
• Ability to perform software demonstrations as needed
• Support legacy applications as needed
• Proactively communicates with multiple software vendors regarding timelines, readiness
• Provide regular updates to key internal/external teams
• Acts as a liaison between business/IT teams
• Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for business improvement.
• Manage and support integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms.
• Other duties as needed to support Sales Team members

• Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Works well with all personal across Bamboo landscape
• Detail oriented
• Not afraid to ask questions or challenge when things don’t align
• Works well in a fast-paced environment and comfortable with ambiguity
• Diligent with email follow up
• Strong understanding of software development and testing
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence and similar tools
• Experience in property insurance
  
  

Required Education And Experience

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience working with insurance technology systems
• At least 5 years' experience in personal lines insurance
  
  

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration or equivalent field
• Experience with IVANS Download
• Strong knowledge of API connections and Comparative Rating Software (EzLynx, PL Rating)
• Strong knowledge of policy administration systems (Guidewire)
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  
  

Salary: Starting at $95,000 annually. Candidate's skills, experience and abilities will be taken into consideration for final offer.
