The Moret Group is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to bridge our business units with our in-house development team. You will translate purchase, production, logistics, and finance processes into precise technical specs for the R&D team to implement, while leading user training and ongoing platform support.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years in technical or solutions consulting roles, strong data/reporting skills, and experience authoring build-ready specifications.
Location: New York/New Jersey metro - hybrid: 3 days/week on-site at our Manhattan office, 2 days remote. Occasional travel to warehouse and distribution-center sites.
Reports to: Chief Technology Officer
Level: Intermediate to Senior
We are seeking a business systems analyst to serve as the primary interface between our business and our development team. Working directly with teams across purchasing, production, logistics, operations, finance, and e-commerce, you will develop a thorough understanding of how the business operates and translate those processes into clear technical specifications that our R&D team can build from. You will lead user training and onboarding, champion and support the systems people work in every day, and carry business requirements back into the development roadmap.
Our platforms are modern, purpose-built and developed in-house, including AI-assisted capabilities that are being extended into the business - data interrogation today, with analysis and forecasting on the roadmap. Helping shape where those capabilities are applied, and bringing them to the people who will use them, is part of the role.
The role suits someone equally comfortable in an operations discussion, a technical design review, and in front of a room running a training session.
Note: this is a build-and-grow environment, not steady-state support of an off-the-shelf package. You will do well here if you are comfortable with evolving requirements and bringing structure to ambiguity.
A qualified candidate meets all of the following:
Location: Hybrid - 3 days/week on-site at our Manhattan office, 2 days remote; must be commutable to Manhattan.
Travel: Occasional travel to warehouse and distribution-center sites.
Work authorization: Must be authorized to work in the US.
