Arkansas Blue Cross is seeking remote applicants from the following states: Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
The Business Systems Analyst gathers business requirements and translates them into functional and technical specifications. This role involves analyzing and configuring application systems, modifying existing systems to improve workflow or serve new purposes, and ensuring functionality, user acceptance, and effective implementation of changes.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Healthcare Management, or related field. In lieu of degree, five (5) years' health-related non-clerical experience with an insurance, managed care, healthcare, or technology organization will be considered.
Experience: Minimum three (3) years' business systems analysis experience with complex systems, or applicable Master’s with minimum one (1) year of experience. Knowledge of insurance technology systems such as claims processing, marketing, membership, enrollment, customer service, financial, and provider systems.
This position is classified as level three (3) and requires maintaining the confidentiality and security of records, adhering to segregation of duties guidelines, and following company policies.
Employment type: Regular, Full-time. ADA requirements include office work, occasional lifting up to 40 lbs, and travel within walking distance of the primary work location.
