Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. is seeking an experienced Business Analyst/UX Designer to lead the gathering and documentation of functional and non-functional requirements, bridging business strategy with applications.

You will run workshops, analyze user needs, create flows, use cases, and wireframes, and collaborate with product teams to ensure user-centered outcomes. The role requires strong UX principles, experience with Agile/Waterfall, and proficiency in JIRA/Confluence, with a focus on Automotive OEM

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years overall business/system analysis experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years overall User Experience document and design experience.
• Working knowledge of UX design principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the gathering and synthesizing of functional and non-functional business requirements ensuring alignment to business strategy
• Identify and conduct necessary workshops/interviews to clarify and document requirements
• Analyze user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop and/or modify applications
• Responsible to assess business requirements and provide design leadership to identify and address impact to process and systems
• Ability to capture and communicate business requirements (functional and non-functional requirement) to support downstream planning and execution
• Ability to capture and build business process documentation in the form of process flows, activity diagrams and use cases
• Ability to provide input to project estimating and resource needs in support of requirements gathering and analysis
• Support the Quality Assurance team in the building of test strategy, plan and test cases including requirements traceability matrix
• Supporting of Quality Assurance test strategy and contribution to test coverage assessment
• Ability to support the creation/design of new user experiences and improvements of existing user experiences
• Proven experience to quickly iterate on multiple interactive design solutions and work through details
• Lead and document using a human-centered design process to support the delivery of an user-centric interface and experience
• Develops high level, mock-ups, wire-frames and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups
• Work closely with product managers to maximize customer success
• Develops and maintains detailed user-interface specifications.
• Presents design work to multiple teams and senior leadership for review and feedback
• Contributes to the group’s shared knowledge of user-centered design and research methodologies
• Work closely with product managers to identify and document user experience requirements and design ideas
• Experience working within different project delivery methodologies including waterfall, iterative, and agile methodologies
• Experience using collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence
• Strong Automotive OEM experience with an emphasis in the Sales and Dealer space
• Experience with a COTS Learning Management System (LMS) including requirements documentation and future business process design
• Experience with interface definition between legacy systems and new COTS application
• Creating report definitions, based on legacy reports, for recreation in new COTs application
• Ability Independently work towards a goal
• Ability to work in a relatively ambiguous environment
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Demonstrated capability to work in a high stress, multi-project environment
