Relate Search is seeking a Senior Business Systems Engineer to design, integrate, and support enterprise applications across ERP, CRM, and middleware platforms. You will own complex problems, influence solution design, and mentor teammates in a collaborative environment.

Relate Search has partnered with a growing manufacturing organization to identify a Senior Business Systems Engineer who will play a key role in developing, integrating, and supporting the enterprise applications that power critical business operations. This hands‑on role spans ERP, CRM, and middleware platforms, supporting processes from order capture and fulfillment through revenue recognition and financial close. The ideal candidate brings deep development expertise in at least one core platform, along with the curiosity and technical versatility to troubleshoot complex issues across interconnected systems. This is an opportunity for an experienced engineer to take ownership of challenging technical problems, influence solution design, mentor teammates, and deliver reliable, scalable solutions in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise application solutions across ERP, CRM, and integration platforms, leveraging deep expertise in at least one primary technology while considering broader system impacts.
• Lead solution design and integration development by translating business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions that align with enterprise architecture, security, data governance, and internal control standards.
• Own complex troubleshooting and production support across interconnected business systems, driving root‑cause analysis, implementing sustainable fixes, and reducing recurring incidents and technical debt.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Revenue Operations, Customer Success, and other functions to clarify requirements, evaluate alternatives, communicate trade‑offs, and deliver practical business outcomes.
• Strengthen team capabilities and technical practices through mentoring, knowledge sharing, clear documentation, disciplined development and release processes, and exploration of AI‑assisted development tools.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands‑on enterprise application development experience in an Agile environment, supported by a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent directly related experience.
• Deep development expertise in at least one core platform: Oracle E‑Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Fusion, or Salesforce.
• Experience with enterprise integration technologies, including MuleSoft or Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), with a strong understanding of APIs, web services, and integration patterns such as REST and SOAP.
• Proven independent problem‑solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot across multiple systems, evaluate alternative solutions, make sound technical decisions, and manage complex production issues with minimal oversight.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders, influence decisions, and support the development of other engineers. Familiarity with Sales‑to‑Quote or Order‑to‑Cash processes and AI‑assisted development tools is preferred.
