Relate Search has partnered with a global organization focused on developing innovative products and solutions that enhance workforce safety to identify a Business Systems Analyst, Operations. This role connects manufacturing and operational teams with technology, helping improve the systems and processes that support production, inventory, warehousing, and supply chain activities. You’ll work directly with stakeholders to understand business challenges, evaluate solutions, lead testing, and support improvements from initial requirements through implementation and adoption. The ideal candidate combines hands-on manufacturing experience with strong business analysis skills and enterprise systems knowledge, along with the ability to collaborate across teams and turn operational needs into measurable improvements.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Operations stakeholders to gather and validate requirements, document current- and future-state processes, identify gaps, and develop practical solution recommendations across manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, warehousing, and logistics.
- Lead operational system enhancements from discovery through implementation, including requirements documentation, process analysis, solution design, impact assessments, and coordination with enterprise architecture and broader technology initiatives.
- Own testing and business readiness activities for system and process changes, including test planning, test script development, regression testing, defect resolution, user acceptance, training, and production readiness.
- Configure, maintain, and support enterprise operations systems, including Oracle EBS or comparable manufacturing platforms, while addressing enhancement requests, troubleshooting issues, and supporting day-to-day business needs.
- Drive continuous improvement and adoption by identifying opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce manual effort, improve data quality, develop user documentation, and help operational teams successfully adopt new processes and technology.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in discrete manufacturing, with the ability and willingness to work directly with operational teams in a shop-floor environment.
- At least 3 years of formal Business Analyst experience, including requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and solution development.
- Experience supporting Oracle EBS or a comparable enterprise manufacturing system, ideally across areas such as manufacturing, inventory, work-in-process, warehouse management, product structures, or product lifecycle management.
- Experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, regression testing, defect management, and user acceptance testing, with strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience evaluating upstream and downstream impacts across business processes, systems, integrations, reporting, and data.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience developing work instructions, user guides, training materials, and process documentation.
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, build consensus, lead productive meetings, and drive action items through completion without direct authority.
Why This Opportunity?
- Make a direct operational impact: Help improve the systems and processes that keep manufacturing and supply chain operations running effectively.
- Bridge business and technology: Work closely with Operations stakeholders and IT teams to translate real-world business needs into sustainable solutions.
- Own meaningful improvements: Participate throughout the process, from requirements and solution design to testing, implementation, and user adoption.
- Solve practical challenges: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and strengthen data quality across operational workflows.
- Grow your expertise: Build experience across enterprise systems, manufacturing processes, and cross-functional technology initiatives.
