Job description

A local utility company is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the organization on a contract basis. The role requires onsite presence four days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration)
• 5+ years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities

• Experience with support and integration of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems
• Strong knowledge of business software applications and hardware technologies
• Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills; ability to present information effectively to teams and departments
• Knowledge of programming languages and developer tools such as PL/SQL Developer, SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft Visual Studio
• Understanding of project plans and ability to clearly articulate roles, goals, and timelines
• Ability to create and review technical design specifications and support the development of information technology architecture
