Job summary

Location: Boston, MA – Onsite 4 days per week

Duration: 6-month contract with extensions and potential conversion

We are looking for a Technical Business Systems Analyst to support a major Treasury and Accounting systems transformation within a financial services environment.

This is a highly technical BA role focused on Treasury applications, Accounting systems, production support, and system implementations. The immediate project involves supporting the migration of payment systems from FIS to Kyriba, with several additional major Accounting technology initiatives planned for 2027.

TOP PRIORITIES / MUST-HAVES:

• Treasury systems experience – any Treasury platform
• Accounting systems and product/system implementation experience
• Experience working directly with technology vendors
• Comfortable embracing AI and using AI tools in day-to-day work

What You'll Do:

• Support Treasury and Accounting applications in a production environment
• Support the migration of payment systems from FIS to Kyriba
• Use SQL for data analysis, troubleshooting, validation, and issue resolution
• Partner with Treasury, Accounting, Operations, IT, and external vendors
• Support system implementations, integrations, and process improvements
• Work with financial integrations including SWIFT, SFTP, Banking APIs, and Bank Portals
• Gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Identify opportunities to improve processes through AI and automation

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience
• Experience supporting Treasury systems
• Experience with Accounting applications and system implementations
• Experience working with third-party vendors
• Strong production support and troubleshooting experience
• Experience with financial applications, payments, or banking integrations
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Interest in and willingness to work with AI tools and automation

Nice to Have:

• FIS and/or Kyriba experience
• Great Plains or another General Ledger platform
• Payments, Cash Management, FX, or General Ledger experience
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, AI Agents, or similar AI tools
