Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end development of business proformas for new programs, service expansions, acquisitions, capital projects, and other strategic initiatives
  • Support the establishment of project scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and responsibilities for each pro forma
  • Ensure timely completion of all required analyses and supporting documentation
  • Incorporate market data, competitive information, organizational capacity, regulatory considerations, and operational requirements into pro forma development
  • Coordinate the development of financial assumptions (census, revenue, staffing costs, facilities, start-up costs, operating expenses, margins)
  • Partner with Finance to validate assumptions and ensure financial models reflect operational plans
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify opportunities, risks, and gaps
  • Conduct sensitivity and scenario analyses to assess impact of key assumptions
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research for projections
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Clinical, HR, Facilities, IT, Admissions, Business Development, and other stakeholders
  • Prepare executive-level summaries and presentations outlining financial results, assumptions, risks, and recommendations
  • Support leadership decision-making by communicating financial and operational implications of initiatives

Overview

This position coordinates cross-functional teams to collect operational, financial, market, staffing, and revenue assumptions and translates this information into comprehensive business cases and pro formas for leadership review and decision-making.

The role requires strong project management, financial analysis, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively across Finance, Operations, Clinical, Business Development, Admissions, Human Resources, and other departments. This position is 5-8 hours a week.

Salary - $18/hr. Also open to a non-paid internship with college credits.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Finance to validate assumptions and ensure financial models accurately reflect operational plans.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify opportunities, risks, and potential gaps.
  • Conduct sensitivity and scenario analyses to assess the impact of changes in census, reimbursement, staffing, expenses, and other key assumptions.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research for assigned projections.
