Job description

If you are passionate about supporting initiatives and executing processes that enhance efficiency and the client experience, then a role as a Business Solutions Banker is for you. As a Business Solutions Banker in Business Banking, you will be helping to improve the lives of our clients and the well-being of their businesses by offering financial solutions, education, and advice. You will manage a portfolio of business or Not-for-Profit clients and build relationships through providing financial education and innovative solutions with a focus on client experience.

Job Responsibilities

1. Deliver an outstanding experience to Chase Business Banking clients by proactively providing comprehensive business banking solutions tailored to their financial needs and circumstances.
2. Plan and conduct regularly scheduled, agenda-based meetings with each client to understand their needs and goals; identify their banking needs, analyze current product usage, and pinpoint growth opportunities through Zoom and phone engagement; engage with clients using screen share tools to educate, guide, and assist with Chase online systems.
3. Use knowledge of banking, industry trends, and internal tools to identify, recommend, and promote solutions that serve the client while working within risk parameters that protect the bank and ensure portfolio profitability.
4. Manage a portfolio of 250 high-value business banking or Not-for-Profit clients by cultivating relationships to ensure a seamless client experience throughout Chase.
5. Understand the client's short-term and long-term capital needs to identify and manage credit opportunities up to $250,000.
6. Understand the client's cash flow cycle to identify Cash Management, Card, and Payment Solutions to streamline and optimize processing efficiency; recommend ways to keep clients' funds and accounts protected.
7. Own the client experience from end-to-end, engaging appropriate service teams to resolve issues; own survey results for all assigned clients; escalate issues when necessary.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management or portfolio management role, or related business experience.
• Strong Zoom/phone-based and written communication skills with individuals at all levels internally and externally.
• Ability to proactively build relationships with clients and internal partners, influence others, and achieve desired outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
• Initiative and rapport-building skills to maintain client relationships virtually; ability to identify opportunities and issues by asking targeted questions; assess and recommend solutions.
• General knowledge of core business products and services including deposit, lending, and cash management.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience.
