Job Description And Duties
Under the direct supervision of the Procurement and Services Officer II, the Business Services Officer I, (Supervisor) is responsible for supervising the preparation of all purchase/contract documents for the Institution; prepares various reports and correspondence affecting the Department and provides on-the job training to staff. The Business Services Officer I, (Supervisor) supervises the Business Services Assistant (Specialist), Property Controller II, and Office Technician.
Limited term 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.

California State Prison-Sacramento is a high security male institution located in Folsom, CA. Employees may regularly be required to be in close vicinity of inmates and may visit various areas within the secured housing units.

Candidates new to CDCR or the Division of Juvenile Justice are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
