Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and Quality Analyst.
• Ability to analyze and translate functional business requirements into actionable tasks.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Intermediate SDLC knowledge and best practices.
• MS Office Suite proficiency.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Broad knowledge of web technologies and content management systems.
• Takes initiative and works well under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Gathers stakeholder requirements and analyzes them for development teams.
• Performs requirements analysis and supports technical analysis with the dev team.
• Conducts quality control of deliverables and products.
• Supports user acceptance testing (UAT) and knowledge transfer.
• Leads product implementation and post-production support.
• Advises project teams on process improvements and adherence to standards.

ITCON Services is seeking to hire a motivated and knowledgeable Business and Quality Analyst (BA/QA) to join our team. The BA/QA will work in close collaboration with developers, testers, and other project roles. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to gathering stakeholder requirements, performing requirements analysis, participating in technical analysis with the development team, performing quality control of any deliverables and products, supporting user acceptance testing, perform knowledge transfer and training, and lead product implementation and post-production support.

The ideal candidate for this position should be able to work with minimal supervision, employ effective time management skills to organize and handle multiple highly visible priorities, projects, and products simultaneously, be comfortable leading testing and analysis activities while coordinating closely with multiple teams. Additional responsibilities will include advising and instructing project teams and project managers on process improvements to promote efficient project delivery and adherence to processes and standards.

This opening is for a full-time salaried position located in the ITCON Services headquarters in Vienna VA. Applicant must be a citizen of the United States and clearable for Public Trust clearance with the U.S Government.
