Pike Engineering is seeking a Business Proposal Specialist III to own the RFx process, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate cross-functional teams for high-quality proposals. You will liaison between customers and internal stakeholders, managing resources, executive reviews, and knowledge archives.
The role requires leadership, coaching, and mentoring capabilities with a strong foundation in engineering or related fields.
Position Overview: As a Business Proposal Specialist III, you will serve as the owner of Pike Engineering's RFx process (Examples include RFP = Request for Proposal, RFQ = Request for Quote or RFI = Request for Information). You will lead continuous improvement efforts, maintain best-in class tools and templates, and coordinate cross-functional teams to develop and submit high-quality proposals. You will be a central liaison between customers and internal stakeholders, managing proposal resources, executive reviews, customer engagement, and RFx knowledge archives to support business growth and operational excellence. You will perform work under minimal supervision, handle complex issues and problems, and refer only the most complex issues to higher level staff. You will provide leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group and may be a team leader. Comprehensive knowledge of the subject matter is required.
This position is located on-site in Fort Mill, SC reporting to Pike Engineering leadership.
