Who we are looking for

The Insurance Professional Services team is seeking a business-focused professional to support client onboarding and conversion initiatives for State Street insurance solutions. The position requires a strong understanding of insurance and investment accounting operations, coupled with the ability to execute competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is client-focused, analytical, and driven to improve operational efficiency while delivering high-quality outcomes for both clients and the organization.

What you will be responsible for
  • Support client implementation and conversion projects to State Street software solutions.
  • Working with clients to define, prepare, and validate data conversion templates to ensure alignment with software requirements.
  • Assist in the identification, resolution and escalation of project issues while assessing associated risk and impacts.
  • Collaboration with internal teams to execute project deliverables and requirements.
  • Contribute to multiple project engagements simultaneously, ensuring timely completion of assigned responsibilities.
  • Follow and define enhancements to internal processes, procedures, and controls.
  • Educate clients regarding State Street functionality and deliverables and participate in remote and onsite client engagements as needed.
What we value
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and interact professionally with clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain documentation, and meet project deadlines.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience supporting data conversions, onboarding reconciliation processes, and issue resolution.
  • Analysis experience with the ability to assess requirements, support process improvements, and help develop solutions that enhance onboarding efficiency and project delivery outcomes.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Five or more years of experience in investment accounting, including exposure to accounting software implementation projects.
  • Working knowledge of insurance accounting principles, statutory and regulatory reporting requirements; experience with PAM or similar insurance accounting platforms is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Copilot, with the ability to leverage technology to support business and project objectives.
Are you the right candidate?

Yes! We truly believe in the power that comes from the diverse backgrounds and experiences our employees bring with them. Although each vacancy details what we are looking for, we don’t necessarily need you to fulfil all of them when applying. If you like change and innovation, seek to see the bigger picture, make data driven decisions and are a good team player, you could be a great fit.

Salary Range

$100,000 - $167,500 Annual The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.

  • our retirement savings plan (401K) with company match
  • insurance coverage including basic life, medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, and other optional additional coverages
  • paid-time off including vacation, sick leave, short term disability, and family care responsibilities
