Job summary

Amivero is seeking a Business Process Analyst to support the land acquisition program improvements for border barrier construction. You will analyze current processes, improve data quality, and develop governance and reporting capabilities to enable timely leadership decisions.

Qualifications

  • US Citizenship required to obtain Public Trust.
  • DHS/CBP Cleared preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree + 3-10 years of experience.
  • Understanding/familiarity with DHS acquisition/procurement process.
  • Must be local to the DMV area.
  • 5x a week on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document current-state land acquisition processes, workflows, reporting procedures, and operational dependencies.
  • Identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, manual workarounds, and opportunities for standardization and automation.
  • Develop future-state business processes that improve operational efficiency, traceability, and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Facilitate process improvement initiatives that support acquisition milestones and program objectives.
  • Create process maps, workflow diagrams, business requirements, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Support the development of project roadmaps, governance models, and implementation plans.
  • Validate ownership records, acquisition status information, and associated program data.
  • Collaborate with federal stakeholders, program managers, acquisition teams, and technical resources to gather and validate business requirements.
  • Conduct interviews and process reviews to identify operational needs and improvement opportunities.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and process improvement strategies to leadership and program stakeholders.
  • Support organizational change management and user adoption efforts associated with new processes and reporting solutions.

The Gist…


This role supports business process improvement for the land acquisition program for border barrier construction by improving business processes, data quality, reporting capabilities, and operational decision-making. Working as part of the Guidehouse team, the analyst will evaluate current acquisition workflows, data management practices, and reporting processes to identify gaps, establish governance standards, and implement sustainable process improvements.


This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders, data management teams, and technology partners to improve the accuracy, completeness, and accessibility of acquisition data. The analyst will help transform fragmented acquisition information into actionable insights by streamlining workflows, enhancing system integration, establishing data governance controls, and developing analytics and reporting solutions that support timely leadership decisions.


What Your Day Might Include…
