The Business Process Re-Engineering Lead is responsible for advancing the Bank’s process re-engineering agenda by identifying opportunities to simplify, redesign, and modernize core workflows through approved automation and artificial intelligence solutions. The role partners with business leaders, enterprise AI governance stakeholders, Change Management, and Technology to evaluate current-state processes, identify inefficiencies, define future-state operating models, and determine where automation or AI-enabled workflows can improve speed, quality, consistency, controls, auditability, associate effectiveness, cost management, and long-term solution sustainability. This is a business transformation role with a strong focus on workflow design and the practical application of approved automation and AI tools. The incumbent is expected to translate business problems into AI-enabled process solutions, including Microsoft 365 Copilot agents, M365 Agent Builder solutions, ChatGPT-enabled workflows, prompt patterns, and reusable implementation playbooks. The incumbent is not expected to write production software or develop models, but is expected to build, test, validate, support, and monitor approved AI-enabled solutions. All work is performed within the enterprise and Bank’s AI governance framework.
Bachelor’s degree in a Business Discipline, Information Systems, or related field required. Hands‑on experience documenting current-state processes, designing future-state workflows, writing business requirements, building process maps, and supporting adoption of technology-enabled process change required. Practical experience using generative AI tools, prompt development, Microsoft 365 Copilot, M365 Agent Builder, ChatGPT, Power Platform, or comparable business automation tools required. Demonstrated experience taking initiatives from concept through production adoption required. Banking or financial services experience is strongly preferred; experience with emerging technology adoption in a regulated environment preferred. Relevant certification preferred (Microsoft Certified: AI Business Professional or AI Agent Builder Associate, Prosci ADKAR, CCMP, or PMP). Software engineering, data science, or model development experience is not required.
The total compensation for this position includes base salary or wages, and may include components such as additional compensation (cash or equity), discretionary bonuses, or commissions.
