Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Business Process Improvement and Internal Control Specialist to support a DoD client. The role focuses on GAAP/GAGAS/ICOFR knowledge, ERP considerations, and internal control testing.

Required are a SECRET clearance, a bachelor’s degree, and 5+ years of federal audit remediation and process improvement experience. Onsite presence at Guidehouse offices is expected at least two days per week.

Qualifications

• ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET security clearance is required.
• 5+ years of experience supporting federal audit remediation, BPI, internal controls testing, risk assessments, and accelerated audit strategies.
• Minimum 2 days per week onsite at Guidehouse office.

Responsibilities

• Support DoD client with financial management, accounting, audit, and internal control functions.
• Map business processes, assess controls, and support remediation efforts.
• Prepare reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.

These teammates will bring a vast range of experiences across financial management, accounting, audit, internal controls, business process mapping, change management, and strategic communication.
