Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking Financial Management, Internal Controls, Fraud Risk, and Business Process Improvement professionals to support our Department of War client. The team will document current state processes, conduct site visits, identify risks, and partner with senior leadership on control remediation and process improvements.

We are hiring across multiple levels and require 2+ days onsite with travel. Candidates should have federal audit remediation and process-improvement experience, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2–10+ years of federal audit remediation, business process mapping, internal controls testing, risk assessments, and accelerated audit strategies.
• Onsite work 2 days per week minimum; willingness to travel for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Document current state processes and controls, conduct site visits and walkthroughs, identify financial and fraud risks, partner with senior leadership on remediation.
• Lead business process documentation, flowcharts, SOPs, and review methodologies to safeguard Federal funds.
• Conduct control reviews over cash disbursements to support standardized processes and strengthen audit trails.
• Advise senior Federal stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes in financial management, audit readiness, and risk reporting.
