Join us in pioneering breakthroughs in healthcare. For everyone. Everywhere. Sustainably. Our inspiring and caring environment forms a global community that celebrates diversity and individuality. This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional who wants to operate at the intersection of process governance, quality documentation, operational transformation, and strategic project delivery.
As a Business Process Engineer, Specialty Services, you will own and maintain the team’s process documentation and quality materials while representing Specialty Services in cross‑functional initiatives that require a clear understanding of end‑to‑end workflows, operational impacts, and business requirements. You will also lead selected strategic projects that improve how the organization works and delivers service.
Own the development, maintenance, and lifecycle management of Specialty Services process documentation, quality documents, standard work, job aids, and related reference materials. Partner with operational subject matter experts, Quality, Training, and leadership to ensure documentation is accurate, usable, current, and aligned with business requirements. Translate complex end‑to‑end workflows into clear process maps, procedures, decision points, roles, controls, and supporting materials as needed. Establish a structured approach for document governance, including reviews, approvals, version control, change communication, and periodic validation. Identify documentation gaps, conflicting guidance, process risks, and opportunities to improve standardization across Specialty Services.
Represent Specialty Services in strategic initiatives, transformation programs, governance forums, and tooling enhancement discussions where operational representation is required. Serve as an end‑to‑end process subject matter expert, articulating upstream and downstream impacts across teams, systems, customers, and field operations. Gather input from stakeholders and translate operational needs, pain points, and process gaps into clear business requirements, use cases, priorities, and acceptance criteria. Partner with project managers, IT, product teams, and cross‑functional business leaders to ensure proposed solutions support scalable, standardized, and sustainable operations. Evaluate process and tooling changes for operational impact, including handoffs, exceptions, controls, training needs, and readiness requirements.
Lead or co‑lead strategic projects for Specialty Services, including new process development, operational improvements, tooling enhancements, and cross‑functional transformation efforts. Develop project objectives, work plans, stakeholder engagement approaches, risks, dependencies, and success measures for assigned initiatives. Coordinate business validation, testing, implementation readiness, issue resolution, and adoption activities across impacted stakeholders. Build alignment and drive decisions across teams without direct authority, ensuring actions and deliverables remain connected to the intended business outcome. Support go‑live and sustainment activities by ensuring process clarity, documentation readiness, training alignment, and defined escalation paths.
Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce variation and manual work, strengthen controls, and improve employee and customer experience. Use data, feedback, and operational observations to assess process effectiveness and prioritize improvement opportunities. Partner with analytics and operational teams to define appropriate measures and monitor results following implementation. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and disciplined process management across Specialty Services.
