Business Process Engineer / Consultant - CISA Requirements Development and Contract Optimization

The Business Process Engineer/Consultant will assess current-state processes, identify improvement opportunities, and design future-state acquisition requirements workflows that improve efficiency, accountability, governance, and enterprise coordination across CISA.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct business process assessments and workflow analysis.
• Develop current-state and future-state process maps.
• Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and root causes.
• Develop recommendations supporting process optimization and operational improvement.
• Support requirements lifecycle design and governance processes.
• Create process documentation, standard operating procedures, and implementation roadmaps.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops to validate process recommendations.
• Support organizational adoption of future-state processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of experience supporting business process improvement initiatives.
• Experience conducting process assessments and workflow modeling.
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and best practices.
• Strong facilitation and documentation skills.

Desired Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
• Experience with federal acquisition, requirements management, or portfolio management functions.
• DHS or CISA experience.
