Job summary

Tech Army, LLC seeks a Business Process Consultant – Financial Operations & ERP Transformation to drive improvements across accounting, disbursements, revenue, financial reporting, budgeting and payroll. The role blends process analysis, SOP development, and implementation readiness for ERP transitions.

You will coordinate with leaders, manage cutover readiness, and support training and communications to ensure smooth operating continuity during financial system changes.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial operations and accounting processes.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with Florida state systems (FLAIR/Florida PALM) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate financial business processes, identify inefficiencies and operational risks, and recommend improvements.
• Develop, review, and update SOPs, policies, desk procedures, workflow diagrams, process maps, and work instructions.
• Coordinate financial reconciliation activities, including revolving funds, master trial balance cleanup, revenue processing reviews, outstanding warrants, receivables, and post-closing adjustments.
• Support financial statement monitoring and research revenue deposit, check log, payment, and prepayment issues.
• Coordinate Chart of Accounts crosswalk updates between FLAIR and Florida PALM.
• Support cutover planning, implementation readiness, and transition activities that maintain business continuity.
• Assist with role-based training plans, onboarding, training completion tracking, and organizational communications.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, track action items, assess workload distribution, and recommend improvements to resource allocation.
• Monitor deliverables and milestones, coordinate issue resolution, and prepare executive-level status reports.

This role combines financial operations, business process improvement, and implementation readiness, working closely with leaders across accounting, disbursements, revenue, financial reporting, budgeting, and payroll.

Experience Relevant to This Role

• Financial and accounting operations knowledge, including reconciliations, general ledger, trial balance, revenue, disbursements, financial reporting, budgeting, or payroll.
• Business process analysis and improvement, supported by examples of documented and implemented changes.
• ERP or financial system transition experience, including operational readiness, cutover planning, and cross-functional coordination.
• Experience creating clear SOPs, process maps, workflow documentation, and management reports.
• Strong stakeholder facilitation, written communication, analytical judgment, and organizational skills.
• Experience with FLAIR, Florida PALM, Florida state financial operations, or comparable government financial system implementations is particularly relevant.
