Job summary

TNT Crane & Rigging Corporate is seeking a Junior Business Process Analyst to document how our business runs and how our systems support it. You will shadow users across branches and corporate offices to craft clear SOPs that reflect system workflows.

Ideal candidates have Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, strong attention to detail, and experience creating user-friendly SOPs for non-technical audiences. On-site role with potential travel.

Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • 1–3 years in process documentation, business analysis, or operations improvement (internships count).
  • Proven experience writing SOPs and work instructions for non-technical users; writing samples required.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to turn a messy process into clear, repeatable steps.
  • Clear communicator who works well with field crews, branch staff, and leadership.
  • Proficient in Visio or Lucidchart and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

  • Document current-state processes end-to-end by shadowing and interviewing users at branches, yards, and the corporate office.
  • Build process maps and swimlane diagrams showing handoffs, approvals, and system touchpoints.
  • Write step-by-step SOPs, work instructions, and quick-reference guides with screenshots, written for field and office users.
  • Test every SOP in the system to confirm it matches how the system works, and flag gaps to the team.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma tools (SIPOC, process mapping, root cause analysis) to help identify waste, redundant steps, and control gaps.
  • Maintain the SOP library: templates, version control, process owners, and review dates.
  • Collect user feedback and update procedures as systems and processes change.
  • Support system testing by documenting test steps and recording issues found.
  • Help create training materials — user guides, quick-reference docs, and video walkthroughs.
  • Support the rollout of new and updated processes to branches and corporate teams.

This role works directly with Operations, Dispatch, Rental, Service, Fleet, and Finance teams to turn system workflows into clear, accurate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that match how our systems operate.The ideal candidate is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt with a strong eye for detail and experience writing SOPs for non-technical users. A background in equipment rental, crane services, or industrial services is a strong plus.
